The Bluetones
The Bluetones (formerly the Blue Bear Jazz Band) was founded in the spring of 2006 and is currently the longest running ensemble at PCHS. It is a jazz band that plays music from the 1920's to the present in a variety of genres such as jazz, blues, funk, latin, and rock. This band rehearses every Wednesday from 2:30 pm until 3:30 pm in the music room. Members are expected to practice regularly on their own as well.
The Bluetones consist of: a saxophone section, a trombone section, a trumpet section, and a rhythm section (piano, bass, drums, percussion, and guitar) |
